I would like you all to meet someone...

"Hello, My name is Sigrid Nilsson. I was born in Småland in 1866. When I was 18 I got maried Henning Nilsson. We lived happy for a few years but one bad thing after the other happened. One year it was too cold, and the other it was too dry so our vintage got destroid. 1886 my parents died in tuberculosis. 2 years later Henning died iin a terible accident so now I had noone left. That was when I decied to go with some of the people in my village to America. My big sister had moved there a few years earlier and she had asked me and Henning to go over there. But Henning didn't want to. Now as I was all left alone decided to go, what other choice did i have? stay in småland and starv?

During the 3 week long boattrip to America I became a member of a sect that one of the people from my village was leader for. Her name was Hilda Matilda ans she gave me hope of a better life and that everything would go alright. She told me that both my parents and my dear husband was in heaven with Jesus and his angels. She was so nice. When we hade been on the sea for about a week she got sick and I think she was near death, but we prayed for her and she soon recovered. That must have been an action from God. Other people on the boat that got sick and died, she said that they didn't have the right faith.

When we got to New York my sister and her husband meet up with me and took me to their home. Hilda Matilda and the rest of her people was going to some place called Wisconsine, I was really tempted to follow them but decided to stay with my sister. I promised Hilda Matilda to remember everything she learned me.

That was how I, a young girl from Småland ended up in Amerika.

It was nice to meet you all, and I might come back some other time and tell you more about my life in amerika. Oh and as the Christmas is soon here I would also say have a God Jul!"

"Hey boy, get your rocks off, move boy, we put the clock on you boy You can't miss, my friend you get knocked down, get up again"

Last night was a blast! I went home to Anna around 8, around 9 we went over to Anja (A friend of Anna that I have meet but only said Hi to before), she had a couple of mates there. We sate there talking for a while and then we went to home to someone called Eric i think. and there was a few other people, don't remember their names though, well some of the names I remember. There was a guy called Victor and a girl called Frida. It was pretty nice there and they played GOOD music there! The first song that greeted us when we walked in was Lost Prophets - Rooftops. GREAT SONG! and then it came some more Lost Prophets and then some The Ark and (+44) and some Taking Back Sunday! But that music made me and Anna in sucha dance mood so we didn't stay for that long.

When we came to the place around 11 it was a pretty long line but we didn't have to wait that long. And lucky me got a flyer from somebody so I got in for free =P But kind as I am I paid half Anna's entrance =) When we got in we first checked out the place, it was a concert there to with some hard rock band from Karlstad. So there was lots of hard rockers or whatever they are called in English. But there was lots of other people there too, some really cute guys as well.
as the dj didn't play any good songs in the beginning we just sat down for a while. But suddenly Anna grabbed my hand and rushed with me to the dance floor. They had started to play a song that she loved by Lars Winnerbäck. We must have looked rather funny when we rushed up like that hahaha. And after that they played more and more good songs. But suddenly they started to play Boten Anna and we got of the dance floor. HATE THAT SONG!
we went into the concert hall and watched the band for a few minutes. and when we came back 5 minutes later they had started to play more nice songs. The last song we danced to was Teddybears Sthlm - Hey Boy. I got so sweaty after that song. it's a great work out song lol

Around 2am I was back in my apartment. I turned on the TV for some reason and saw that they was talking about the rocket Discovery and that it was going to take of in like 30 minutes so I stayed up and watched it. It was soooooooo cool when it took of!

Well now I'm going to stop blabbing and go and get me some more pepparkakor :P

Have a nice Sunday!

"The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it." - Richard Bach
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Today we showed our film to the rest of the class and we got nice response on it =) We were the only group in the class that had made a movie that had to do with the theme "Möte med det okända" (meeting with the unknown). Some of our classmates had chosen to use paint, band aid, paper (making a painting and a sculpture), others had made a play that was sooooo hilarious. And another group had used music to show it. They changed the lyrics to a Christmas song, translated Bjälerklang into Spanish and they used drums, guitar, triangle, piano and bass. The whole day have been so enjoyable and I have really paid my classmates for this lovely and fun moments.

And now "I wish you all the joy that you can wish."

Does anyone like H&M's new Christmas ad? I love it! why I don't know. I just do, and I think it's really weird cause I usually don't like ads like that. But I think it's great that they have picked a little bit older model/actress to be the face of the ad. I think she's 42 or something like that (yeah I know she don't look that old). And the cat in the TV ad is so cute!

Another thing that I find pretty weird is that I even think that Fergie’s new music video (okay, it's not that new but still) to the song fergielicious is pretty good, and some of the clothes she's wearing is pretty nice.

Well no over to what have happened in my life this past few days. Well I have had lots of fun making a movie together with some of my classmates. It have been lots of fun but yesterday when we were going to shot some scenes outside it was raining so we got really wet, but the movie(music video sort of) turned out great. we are going to show it to the rest of the class tomorrow. If I get the possibility to get the video to my computer I will send it till those of you that might wanna see it or so.

Now I don't know what more to write, and I am starting to get pretty tired.

Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer! Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Now I can listen to Christmas songs and sing Christmas songs without anyone thinking that I am weird. Not that I mind people thinking that but still. This weekend have been full of fun. yesterday my parents and my lovely little sister Nemo paid me a visit. they came here around 12 and then we went out for some shopping. I got two Christmas presents :) a pair of new shoes (great dancing shoes btw) and a new white shirt. Nemo got a beautiful green dress that she is going to wear on a Christmas party at her school or maybe on new years eve. After been out shopping for a while Nemo met up with some mates of hers. Me, mum and dad went home to me to chill out for a while. At 6.30 we watched julkalendern <333333333> At nine we were back in my apartment and Nemo soon joined us. we watched TV for a while and then we went to bed.

Today we woke up at 9 and me and mum watched Julkalendern. and after that we made some breakfast together. We lighted one of the four candles in the Advent candlestick =) The breakfast was really nice and we had lussebullar and gingerbread biscuits, as well as bread and other ordinary breakfast things. It was yummy! After the lovely breakfast we all watched some videos on youtube, like some of the SteveEDGE and MarkDETH videos and other funny things.
Around 1am me, mum and Nemo went out for a walk in the forest. It was wonderful and we even found some funnel chanterelle (or whatever they are called in English. in Swedish it's trattkantarell). When we came back an hour later we decided to go and get something to eat before they had to go back to Göteborg. So we went to a café called Café Royal. I had a pannini with ham, cheese, tomato and paprika. and to dessert I had Budapest cake =P And after that they drove me home here and then they went away. It was fun having them here, and I miss them already.

Now over to something else. I found it really fun to do slidshows on photobucket.com so I have made another one but with just pics of me :P it will show you all how I have changed over the past four years =) what do you think?

Peace on you and love too!

You Are From Neptune

You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability.
You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea.
Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion.
You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone.
If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything.

Don't know if any of you guys can see the things that really fit in on me in that result, but I can.

OH MY FUCKING GAWD!

Just watch this clip and you will see what I mean: http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/video.asp?video=heather_mills_fur&Player=wm&speed=_med

How can people be so evil to animals? How?! It makes me get so mad at the human race. Would we like to be treated like that if we weren’t the most intelligent life on earth? I don’t think so, or maybe we would. In my opinion we aren’t that intelligent, just look at what we are doing to the other inhabitants on this planet! We are using them just because we want to wear their "clothes"! That is just not right! And that is not the only bad thing we are doing to them. But I wont go in on that cause it just make
me sad thinking of it. ;_; Therefore I won’t talk about it anymore!

Peace out on you!

As you all probably know I was suppose to go out and dance all night long...

but that plan got changed in the last minute =P
Why, you might ask and I am going to tell you why. Anna came home to me around 8 and we started to get ready. at 9 we were ready so we sat down and chatted for a while as it wasn't time to get to the bus just yet. The conversation got deeper and deeper (for some reason we talked about euthanasia) and we didn't notice how much the time was. suddenly I see that the bus is going to leave in like a minute so we rush up, put our shoes and jackets on. and just as we went out my door we saw the bus leaving... so we went back in and made some tea and sat down on my bed and continued with our chatting. And we thought that we could stay in having a nice time instead as we are going to get out on Saturday anyways. So Anna stayed at my place for a couples of hours and we had a nice time just chatting, drinking tea and listening to music.

Today me and Anna are going out shopping x-mas presents and stuff =) and it will be so much fun. And after being out doing that for a few hours we are going to go home to Anna and make some food and prepare for the movie night. We are most probably going to go over to Mikael and ask him if we can borrow Tail of two Sisters. That movie is sooooo scary and pretty weird, didn't get it first when I saw it a couple of weeks ago but Anna have explained it to me =) she's so nice =P

And tomorrow we are going over to one of Anna’s old classmates classmate that is having a small party before we are going out. I have meet Anna’s old classmate a few times she is really nice =) but I have most likely not meet anyone else that is going to be at that party and neither have Anna. (hopefully it will be some nice guys there... I really feel like flirting with some guys haha=P)

Have a nice day, weekend. I will tell you all about the party and so on Sunday, if I aint to tired.

Love,
Stina xXx

oh and please comment =)

Midnight talking about this and that...

The last few days have been pretty good but a bit lonely. Anna went home to her dad on Friday and as she is the only one of my friends that live in Karlstad I had to be by myself. But I can handle that thanks to the computer. I love my computer it makes me feel alright!

This new course that I have now is really fun, can't wait for more! so far the dancing have been the most fun. Our dancing teacher might start a dancing class next semester if there is enough people that shows interest in modern/improvisation/free dance. Me and Anna asked her. If she does me and Anna will be taking that class.

Yesterday i went and visited my grandma. she helped me with a task for the history part in this course. We have to get some info about our relatives a few generations back. it was fun, I got to know that I have some finish blood in my veins haha it was nice sitting there with my grandma hearing about my family history =)

Yesterday i also went out to look for Christmas presents but didn't find anything instead I found lots of things that I want! but I can't buy them now, have to wait until I have bought all the presents. But even if I didn’t find anything I know exactly what I’m going to get to everyone. Now I just have to find them!

I also went into a tattoo salon and looked at some tattoos. I have almost decided that my first tattoo are going to be a dog rose on my left shoulder. Why? Well because my mum have always said to me that if I was a flower I would be a dog rose cause I’m beautiful and look really nice but if you aren’t careful I might sting you =P and if I am allowed to say that I’m beautiful without sounding too self-righteous I agree with her.
And my next tattoo will most l
ikely be a little dolphin on my right ankle. And that is also a bit because of my mum. She have always said that I must have been a dolphin in an earlier life. And she also used to joke around saying that the first years in my life I was living with a dolphin family and that she and my dad found me one day on the beach hahaha when I was 4 I actually believed in that =P And Also I have always loved water and dolphins. Dolphins are one of my absolute favourite animals. I actually sometimes wish that I was a dolphin or maybe a wild horse. They just seem so free!

Wild horses I wanna be like you. Throwing caution to the wind, I'll run free too. Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longing to. I wanna run with the wild horses” (Natasha Bedingfield - Wild Horses)

Well that’s all for me now. I guess you all have maybe got to know a bit more about me now and what’s happening in my life.

Love,
Stina xXx

"People marching to the drums, everybody’s having fun to the sound of love. Ugly is the world we're all in. Move from right and prove me wrong" - McFly - Transylvania

The quote above is from a McFly song as you see and I have madly fallen in love with that song. It's just so amazing! It sounds a bit different to other McFly songs. Just hearing that songs make me wanna have the album, going to order it whenever that will be.

Now over to some other news. Today i had my first lessons in the new course and it was fun. We had drama, music and story telling (berättande). In the drama lesson we played for a bit at first and after that we made some role playing. In the music lesson we played on bongo drums and talked about what our relationships to music was. And in the story telling lesson we had to sit in groups and tell the others about something that we might have in our bags or something we were wearing. I talked about two train tickets that I had in my wallet. They were from when I was in Glasgow last year so I talked a bit about that. It was fun hearing and telling. and after that our teacher told us a story with lots of feelings. It was really fun. and after that we got a task to do in our study groups. We are going to tell a story with feeling, using maybe a bit of drama and such as well. It will be fun =) =) Tomorrow we are going to have art and after that it's time for study group time.

That’s all for now, but don't forget to tune in later on this week for more updates from Stina-news.

See ya!

Andy: You look so skinny!
Emily:
Really? Thanks. I'm on this new diet for Paris. I don't eat anything.
.. and then when I feel like I'm about to faint, I eat a cube of cheese.

Last night Nemo, Sandra and me went and saw The Devil Wears Prada and I just loved it. It was the best sort of romantic chicflic comedies! It was well spent moneys and I want to see it again. It had laughs, near to tears, romantics, and last but not less A LOT of beautiful clothes that I would have loved to wear! haha and I have to say that Anne Hathaway looks really hot in this movie. She's really beautiful and plays her role (as Andy Sachs) really good and so does all the other actors and actresses. But I have to say that even though I loved this movie I love the book even more. In the book it happens a bit more things and some things that happen in the film isn't as it is in the book at all.
From me this movie get **** (4 stars) and the book gets ***** (5 stars)

Nothing more from me to say at the moment, so bye bye and have a nice day!

"Vi har en ask, den är minst hundar år. Den blir bara högre ju mer tiden går. och jag har en gunga på lägsta grenen. Där sitter jag ofta och dinglar med benen."
- Lena Andersson,
Majas Alfabet.

So now you all might wonder why I put up that text up there. Well yesterday I bought a present to Ava, daughter to one of our familys closest friends. She's turning 6 in a few weeks and I bought a cd with childrens song by Lena Andersson, and the cd is called Majas Alfabet. When I was just a kid I had that on cassette and I loved it. I knew all the songs by heart and I still do. The text above is the first song. there is a song for every letter in the alphabet, and every song is about some kind of plants. Oh and for you all that don't know what the text above is about I'm now going to try and translate it:
"We have a ash, it is at least a hundred year. It only grows higher as the time goes. and I have a swing on the lowest branch. There I often sit and dangle with my legs."

Why did I wrote this blog? I don't know really... I just wanted I guess haha. and that cd have really made me reminse about when I was just a kid... *sigh* sometimes I wish I still was just 6 years old. No problems in the world, just having fun...

No, now I'm going to stop writing and I'll try to stop writing blogs that most probably wont intrest you that much... Can't promise any updates tomorrow but I will try to update this weekend.

G'night and sleep tight!
Stina xXx
It's so freaking cold!

Mood: pretty happy =)
Listening to: I'm Real - Jennifer Lopez.

Oh, god the winter has arrived... well at least for a few days. they say it will be a bit warmer this weekend and I'm glad for that. yesterday I was down in the city centre to buy some x-mas presents. God how hard that can be, but at least I found a few. Well while I was in the city it was really cold and I didn't have any gloves or hat. so my hands felt like ice cubes but my head was even worse as it was blowing like mad. But luckily I didn't have to be out for that long. when I had been out shopping for like 2 hours I went home to my grandma. It was really nice I got a cup of warm tea and we sat and talked for like one and a half hour. well we talked as good as we could as my grandma don't have the best of hearing. she told me about when she was in her education to become a teacher. They learned thing like gardening and stuff. and she told me about when she was going to have her first lesson, it was going to be a music lesson. So she went home to the ordinary music teacher to get instructions. This, her room mate didn't like as she had a crush on him, so she come with my grandma and waited for her outside in the cold. When my grandma was done the music teacher followed her out as he was going out to have dinner, and my grandma had totally forgot about her mate. So she walked home by herself, and her mate didn't see that so she sat there for a bit longer. and that resulted in that she got pneumonia. =/ Love really can make you sick =P hahaha

I left my grandma around 5.30 pm. and I went to the museum of Värmland, it was going to be a lecture there about all saints day and what other cultures/religions thinks happened after you've passed away. It was really interesting, not that many showed up though, it was like only me and maybe 5 more persons. it was 3 persons who was going to talk, one of them was a guy maybe just a few years older then me and he was soooooooooo hot! ahaha he was sort of an expert on what the 6 big religions think about the what happens when you've died. Liz, do you remember that expedition we went to in Religion B, Gud har 99 namn? well he work there as a guide. I want to go there and see if I see him hahaha just for the fun of it.
the whole lecture was really interesting and I learned lots of new things. Like for example Halloween once in the past was a holiday mostly celebrated by young couples in love =P

Earlier on the day yesterday I had opposition in school. as i told you 2 days ago i was going to read Jennifer’s work. I did and it went well when I was going to talk about it and gave her good and bad critic. Most good =) I almost only got good critics on my work. My, the one reading my work, had thought it was really fun to read =) So today I only have to change the few changes she wanted me to change and then I have no more schoolwork to do until next week when my new course starts.

Now, I’m going to have something to eat.
Bye, bye and see ya!

Tuesday, October 31, 2006

OMG another post at the same day!

what’s wong with me? hahaha I guess I'm just bored cos I am. I should be reading thru Jennifer's (a girl in my study group) work, as I am going to do a opposition on it tomorrow... but I just can't get myself together, well I'm going to do it after I have written this.

At the moment I'm listening very much to NoFX, why I don't know really. Last week I listened to Håkan Hellström like all the time <333 style="font-weight: bold;">NoFX
is Leaving Jesusland and is just soooo great hahaha. if anyone (i don't think this but still) want me to send it over just tell me ok? another great song by NoFX is USA-holes hahaha both those songs are from their last album, in my eyes one of the years best albums =P

And now I'm going to talk even more shit hahaha well tomorrow after the opposition I'm going to go and shop some x-mas presents and I'm also going to a lecture about how Halloween is celebrated all over the world :) that will be fun i hope. and I'm also going to pay my grandma a visit, she will be so glad :) and at 9 tomorrow the O.C starts and I'm like so glad for that! I've waited like forever for that! Waited to see Seth Cohen (ask Adam Brody haha) in my tv again, he's like so hot! and cute! and funny! and just adorable! *sigh* just look at him! How can you not like him? =P

Well now I'm going to do boring stuff... see ya (don't wanna be ya)

Stina xXx

WHAT A LOVELY MORNING...

Mood: Mixed
Listening to: Leaving Jesusland - NoFX (from the album Wolves in Wolves' Clothing)

Well I don't really think it's a lovely morning... I'm so sleepy but I can't understand why. I've slept like 8 hours tonight and the same yesterday. Maybe I don't get enough sunlight or something. well it is raining all the time so i can't really enjoy the sun! On the weather report today they said that it might start snow tonight or tomorrow... DAMN YOU WEATHER GODS!! why can't you make it summer all year long? why? I bet a lot of people here in sweden would love that =P

So over to something nicer. then talking about weather, I'm coming to GÖTEBORG this weekend woho! Mummy's food! <333 oh and daddy's food as well =P but my brother wont be there when I come because he's movin to barcelona today, he's most likely on the plane now, when I write this, as his plane is leaving at 11.05am. I'm going to miss him so much! My sweet big brother! but he will be here during x-mas :D:D Can't wait for x-mas! I love X-Mas! It's like the nices of holidays. You get and give presents, eat good food, and spend times with everyone you love!

Oh yesterday when I talked to my mum on the phone she told me that one of my old childhood friends from the time when I lived in Portugal have moved to Göteborg and study at Chalmers. It was years since I last saw him, well not that many years only 4 but still. I remember when I was like 4 or 5, he was in love with me and so was another boy in my pre-school class. They started to fight because of that lol they both wanted to sit next to me and stuff. And my mum told me later that after a while I thought that it was so tough so I didn't want to go to school anymore lol

Well now I'm going to make some breakfast!
Have a nice day!
Oh, And have a Happy Halloween!

Saturday, October 28, 2006

I come to think about something earlier today...
Not many of you know how my apartment look like so I took so
me pictures and put them up here. It's not much but it's my own little home :) and you have to excuse if it's a bit messy...

What else have I done today? Well most of the day I have done schoolwork, have this essay that I have to bed
done on Monday at 9am. And now I only have like half of it to write tomorrow, I wrote for almost 5 hours today... not that fun! =/

But yesterday was fun. I went over to Anna and we made some food and baked a chocolate cake and watched a movie. We made chicken with curry and rice. It was soooo yummylicious =P but the cake was even more yummylicious hahaha anyway, while waiting for the cake to get ready we sort of started to play with fire, not good I know, but it was fun! But suddenly when Anna was going to blew out her match it landed on the table and it started to burn in the tablecloth but we managed to stop it to get worse so no real harm done. just a mark on the cloth. But afterwards it was so fun and we laughed like mad =P

Well now I'm going to drink some cider, CocaCola and eat some sweets (dumle and gott&blandat) =P

G'night and Sweet Dreams!
peace, Stina xXx

P.S if I have made some spelling or grammar misstakes I'm sorry and if you wnat tell me what I have done wrong...

Hellow to you all out there!

Mood: tired but glad.
Listening to: Gårdakvarnar och Skit - Håkan Hellström

First I want to say that I'm really, really, really, really sorry that I haven't writen anything here in sucha long time. I have many times thought that I would write a few lines but then something other have come up... I'm sorry but now I'm back =)

So what have I been up to this last few weeks. in one word: a lot (ops, that was two words...)
Well I have been out on practical training on a school called Ferlinskolan and is placed in Filipstad. So for the last two weeks I have had to go up at 4.30 to get on a bus at 5.30 that will take me to the busstation in the city of karlstad and wait for the bus to Filipstad to arrive at 6.15. (I have to wait at the station for like 20 minutes...) But the waiting isn't that bad as I have hot guy to look at. He's always on the same bus as me to and from filipstad but he get off the bus a bit earlier then me. He's hot as hell. with a amazing smile that lit up his whole face. Wish i was a bit less shy so that I could go and talk to him. But I'm not and he's always with a couple of friends so that make me even more shy. I think he noticed me looking at me a few days ago but I'm not sure... and sometimes it have felt like he have been lookinig at me but maybe thats only because I have looked at him... hahaha

And before I went on practical training I turned 19 =) getting older and wiser for each day that pass by... well I really don't want to get older but I don't have a choice do I? well I can always act younger then I am "Forever young I wanna be forever young!" [the Youth Group - Forever Young]
and when I turned 19 I was back in Gothenburg and hanged out with friends and family. It was really nice!

But Now I have to go and get something to eat cause i haven't eaten since 11 today...

See ya all!
Peace, Stina xXx

What is knowledge? is there different kind of knowledge?

That was something we discussed in class today. It's a hard question but a good one. It really makes you think. but that wasn't really what I wanted to talk to you about. I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing fine and that I have made some new friends but of course I miss you all a lot.

CSI later on tonight! WOHO! L-O-V-E it! =P I missed it last week so I really have to watch it today! I really need my weakly CSI, and I need my weakly CSI Miami as well. Even though Miami isn't quite as good as CSI, but almost there.
(Isn't Greg (up in the left corner) just so cute! HAHAHA =P)

Now I'm going to say good bye cause I'm hungry and I'm going to make something to eat. So bye bye!

Peace,
Stina xXx

P.S I know that this update wasn't that good but atleast I updated =P

Thursday, August 31, 2006

First of all I want to say how sorry I am that I haven’t updated since the first post. But I have a good reason why, The reason is that I didn’t get Internet until today. So what have I been up to? Well ALOT! And I have written sort of kept a diary on it. I have written something down everyday.

26/8 -06

Today I woke up around 7 to get a shower and get myself ready for the journey to my new home. Soon the rest of the family woke up and got ready as well but not for the journey, for the good bye. Around half past 8 me and the rest of the family sat in the car and we drove of to the bus terminal. When we arrived there I got my ticket from the nice lady in the ticket stand (or whatever it called in English). And when that was done we sat down to eat some breakfast, I had a nice sandwich with ham, cheese and tomato. Yummy! =P

When it was time for me to go to the bus I got this weird feeling. I was sad but happy at the same time. Sad because I’m gonna miss my family and friends so much. Mum wont have anyone to watch TV with anymore. Me and my mum always watch TV together… I was happy because I know it will be great here. I will get new friends and Karlstad is a nice city.
At 9:40 am I watched my mum, dad and sister getting smaller and smaller as the bus drove off. The only thing I did during the bus journey was listening to music and what was a bit creepy was that the first song that started to play on my iPod was Good Riddance (Time of your life) by Green Day. “Another turning point a fork stuck in the road. Times grab you by the wrist direct you where to go.” maybe it’s only me that find that a bit creepy but it was nice. It’s one of my fave song by Green Day.

When I arrived in Karlstad around 1:10 pm and know I had to find the right bus to take me to my apartment. That was easier said than done. I walked around with my bags for more then half an hour and I got warmer and sweatier and I really needed to go to the toilet. Guess if I was happy when I got on the right bus! The first thing I did when I got to the apartment was to use the toilet, and after that I laid down on my bed and rested for a while. I was so tired. During the rest of the day not much happened. I unpacked my stuff and went to buy some things to eat and so on. I went to bed pretty early.

27/8- 06
Today I woke up around 8. And after watching TV (don’t remember what I was watching) for quite a while I got up and took a shower, ate breakfast and so on. Around 12 I went out on a walk, just to look at the area. And after that I ate lunch (tuna with pasta and vegetables. Yummy!). Then after that I did nothing, it had started to rain outside so I didn’t really want to take another walk. At around 4:30 Marlena called. She is daughter to one of my mum and dads co-worker and is on her second year on the Economics program. We decided to meet up down in the city to take something to drink.

Marlena was really nice and she gave me some good advices and so. She also told me a little about how Nollningen (Don’t know what this is called in English) was going to be. We talked for a few hours and we had some things in common. For example we both like going to Sticky Fingers (Rock/Dance club in Gothenburg) on Thursdays, We both are born in September and we both dislike that stupid song Boten Anna =P

When I got home around 9 my mum called and we talked for a few minutes. She and my sister Nemo(Sophia) is all alone for some days now. My dad and big brother Robert is with work in Barcelona. (I WANNA BE THERE TOO! I love Barcelona!)

28/8 - 06 - The DAY!
Today I first woke up around 5 but I fell asleep again as I didn’t have to go up yet in a few hours. At half past 7 my alarm clock went off and I had to go up. I watched the News on TV, ate breakfast and then put on some clothes. At a quarter to 9 I went down to the University and I saw a lot of people doing the same. And then I really mean A LOT! There were people every where! When I got into the building I had to register me on the courses and I got a membership in Lärarar Förbundet. After that me and everybody else that want to teach went in to the big room/hall (whatever). I sat down next to a girl/woman called Ida, she’s 23 and from Skövde. She want to teach religion and psychology. We sat in this big room for about hours and got lots and lots of info about the program and the school. After that people from LÄSK (Lärarstuderande I Karlstad) showed us around the school. And then it was over.

Later on, at 6 pm I went down to Stora Torget (Big square) down in the centre of Karlstad. Why? Well because that’s where the Nollning would start. Quite a lot people showed up and I started to talk to a few more people. All the new students got into 10 teams and every team had a leader, (a student that had been at the uni for a few years or so) and this leader had some helpers. I Got into the team Bilmeckarna (the car mechanics), you see every year Nollningen has a theme and this year the theme was occupations. After the team building every team walked a way to different play stations or what you could call it. Now every team had to pick as much points as possible. The funniest station I must say was when we had to get as many people as possible into a phone booth. And we got 2 points for every person that we got from the street, people that wasn’t in the team so to say. We got 21 people =P Pretty impressive huh? =P I was in the booth, sitting under the phone thing, I was so afraid that all the people above me would fall on me, but it was fun anyway… =D

29/8 - 06
Today the course started for real. I got into a nice class and got to know even more people, mostly people that are a bit older then me. Nothing more really happened this day lol

30/8 - 06

Today I started at 9.30 and it was really hard to get up. And to find the classroom was even harder, I almost got lost. But then I asked someone and she was nice enough to show me =D The lesson was really interesting and I got to know more people. Yesterday I didn’t go on Nollningen but today I did. It wasn’t as fun as it was the first day. I just don’t like it when people drink a lot and get drunk. Drinking just to get drunk. That was what sort of happened today. Not fun! Well we played a few games and that was pretty fun. But I left after that.

So today; 31/8-06 (22 days left to my b-day)
Today I started to talk to a girl called Anna and a boy called Kjartan (his parents are from Iceland). They are the same age (born 1987) as me and is also going to teach history. We sat down and ate lunch together. She’s from Skara and he lives in Arvika (a city not that far from Karlstad). After school I went away and got the package with my internet modem on the post office and then I got home and installed it =D and now I’m online YAY!

Tomorrow I don’t have school so I might get a bus home to Göteborg, but I wont be there much. Cos tomorrow evening my mum, my sister and maybe me (if I take the bus) are going away to one of my mums best friends and on Saturday we are going to pay my dear old granddad a visit. And I’m going to back to Karlstad on Sunday again. Now I’m going to make myself something yummy to eat =P
Good Night!
